    Delete your CarexBoost account

    You can delete your CarexBoost account whenever you want, in the app (iPhone and Android) or on the website, without contacting us. This page explains how and what happens to your data.

    In the app or on the website

    Sign in to your account and follow these steps:

    1. Open your account menu (your name) and choose "Profile".
    2. At the bottom of the page, under "Danger zone", tap "Delete account".
    3. Type ELIMINAR and confirm with "Delete account".

    Before you confirm, the screen shows exactly what will happen to your account.

    What happens

    • Access ends immediately: you are signed out on this and every other device.
    • You receive a confirmation email with the date on which the data is erased.
    • Your personal data is erased after 30 days. Until that date you can undo it: just reply to the confirmation email.
    • If the account is not linked to any clinic yet (for example, you have just signed up), it is erased immediately, with no 30-day period and no way back.
    • Patient of a clinic: you lose access; your record and history stay with the clinic, which is responsible for that data.
    • Practitioner: you lose access and leave the clinic; the notes and feedback you wrote stay with the clinic.
    • Administrator, with another administrator in the clinic: only your account leaves; the clinic carries on.
    • Only administrator: the clinic closes. All members lose access, the subscription stops renewing and the clinic data is erased after 30 days.
    • All that remains of the sign-in account is an anonymous technical record, with no email, password or sessions.

    No access to the app

    If you cannot sign in, send an email to hello@carexboost.com with the subject "Delete account" and include the email address you sign in with (ideally, write from that address).

    We may need to verify your identity or forward the request to the organisation responsible for the patient records. We respond within the legal time limits, normally one month.
